Sulcata Tortoise Description:
- Origin:
Native to the African deserts, commonly known as the African Spurred Tortoise.
- Physical Characteristics:
It has distinctive spurs on the back of its thighs, a light brown to yellow shell, and thick, sturdy skin.
- Size:
It can grow up to 80 cm in length.
- Diet:
About 95% of its diet consists of grass and leafy vegetables (herbivorous).
- Character:
Active, strong, and requires adequate sunlight exposure (UVB) for proper growth and health.
